Esporta Oxford will host TWP St George's Hill In one of tonight's (Tuesday) Premier Squash League (PSL) semi-final play-offs to decide which of the two teams will reach the final of the world's most prestigious squash league for the first time.

Surrey Health & Racquets, the Croydon club which won the title in 2008, will take on 1999 champions MB Nottingham in the other semi-final.

Competition will be fierce at both venues, with seven players from the world's top 20 in action, plus Britain's most successful player in the modern game, Peter Nicol, the former world number one and world champion.

Esporta Oxford will be led by Cameron Pilley, the world No15 from Australia who faces the St George's Hill top string Daryl Selby, the 27-year-old from Essex who leapt to a career-high world No9 in the latest world list.  The Weybridge club's No2 is Tom Richards, the world No31 who takes on Germany's rising star Simon Rosner, ranked three places lower.

The third string clash will see Oxford's 29-year-old Chris Ryder take on Swiss opponent Nicolas Mueller, at 20, the youngest player of the night.  Ryder – ranked 38 in the world, just one place below Mueller - is the only player to boast a 100% appearance for his team this season.

While the fourth string clash sees Oxford stalwart Scott Handley line-up against Hungarian number one Mark Krajcsak – unbeaten in his five appearances for St Georges' Hill this season – the women's match will feature Irish number one Madeline Perry, winner in all seven of her Oxford appearance this season, and former British junior champion Rachel Willmott.

The top string clash in the other semi will see England's world No8 Peter Barker take on Nottingham's Dutch international Laurens Jan Anjema – an opponent against whom he boasts a 3-2 career head-to-head lead.

By contrast, Nottingham's Malaysian star Ong Beng Hee has a 4-0 career lead over the Croydon club's Davide Bianchetti, the Italian number one whom he meets tonight.  Surrey Health's No3 Peter Nicol faces Irishman John Rooney in his sixth appearance for the club this season.

In another clash of opposites, Surrey Health's Scottish international Alan Clyne – making his PSL debut this season – faces veteran PSL campaigner Simon Parke, the 37-year-old who led Nottingham to success in 1999.

And Surrey Health woman player Camille Serme is also celebrating her maiden PSL season – the French number one, ranked 11 in the world, lining up against Nottingham-based Emma Beddoes, the world No34.
