England international Peter Barker and Italian number one Davide Bianchetti will be making their second appearance for Surrey Health & Racquets in the final of the Premier Squash League – and will be hoping to repeat the 2008 success they achieved for the Croydon club in this season's climax tomorrow (Tuesday) at Surrey Sports Park in Guildford.

Surrey Health & Racquets face first-time finalists and fellow Esporta club Esporta Oxford.  Peter Barker, the world No7 from London fresh from playing his part in England's triumph in the European Team Championships in France at the weekend, leads the former champions against Oxford's top string Simon Rosner, the German number one ranked 33 in the world.

The PSL final will be the first event to be staged at the state-of-the-art new centre at Surrey Sports Park which boasts six international standard glass-backed squash courts, including two show courts with seating for 160 spectators.

Surrey Health & Racquets team manager Pete Smith is upbeat about his team's chances:  "We are very much looking forward to the PSL Final at the new Surrey Sports Park.  After winning in 2008 we are keen to put in a good performance and finish the season on a high - but Oxford will be tough opponents having an excellent season and in their maiden Final.

"Alison Waters has not recovered from her Achilles injury, which is a great shame, so Lauren Selby comes in to take the Ladies spot," added Smith.  "We are taking a good number of supporters and I am sure we are in for a fantastic night of exciting squash.

"To be involved in an all-Esporta Final will add that bit extra to the tie so we are looking forward to the battle beginning!!"

Oxford's manager Jason Martin responded:  "We are delighted to have made the final this season and an all-Esporta final is pretty special for us.  Both teams are without key players but I think Surrey will be favourites – just!

"As always, I'll plump for an Oxford win though 3/2!"
