Czech squash star Jan Koukal celebrated his 12th appearance in a PSA World Tour event already this year by winning the 'Tour De Las Americas' El Salvador Open, the $6,750 Super Satellite event at Club Maya in the El Salvador capital San Salvador.

With three Tour event appearances in each of the first three months of 2010, it's been a busy competitive year for the 26-year-old from Prague - who also found time to win his latest Czech national title last month in his home town.

But Koukal's 2010 campaign has been a successful one - with his triumph in San Salvador marking his fifth Tour final of the year, and his third title triumph.

The top seed dropped just one game en-route to the final, where he faced second-seeded Englishman Eddie Charlton. But Koukal was too strong for the 21-year-old from Nottingham, winning 11-9, 11-2, 11-5 to collect the 14th Tour title of his career.
