Hungarian number one Mark Krajcsak upset top-seeded American Julian Illingworth in the final of the White Oaks Cup to win the new $10,000 PSA World Tour squash event at The Club at White Oaks in Niagara-on-the-Lake in Canada.

After battling to a five-game win over local qualifier Andrew Schnell in the first round, the 26-year-old from Budapest despatched two further Canadians en-route to the 12th Tour final of his career.

Meanwhile favourite Illingworth faced his biggest hurdle in the semi-finals - where the 26-year-old from New York was forced to fight back from two games down to overcome seventh seed Shawn Delierre in a 94-minute marathon before recording his third Tour final appearance this year.

And it took a further 71 minutes to resolve the final, with Krajcsak, ranked 51 in the world, eventually emerging triumphant over the world No35 11-9, 16-14, 11-7.

The win marks the eighth Tour title of the Hungarian's career - and his third $10,000 PSA Tour event success in Canada.
