Dutchman Laurens Jan Anjema and Australian Cameron Pilley will both celebrate their 25th appearances in PSA World Tour event finals when the top two seeds contest the climax of the $30,000 Dutch Open at Victoria Squash in the city of Rotterdam.

Anjema played the match of his life to reach the event final for the third time since 2004. The 27-year old event favourite from The Hague was in total control from start to finish against Australia's Stewart Boswell and hardly put a foot wrong as he stormed to an 11-5, 11-5, 11-1 victory in 54 minutes.

Earlier in the evening Cameron Pilley moved into his third consecutive Dutch Open final, fighting off a spirited challenge by England's Chris Ryder.

The tall Aussie was in blistering form, combining powerful kills, controlled drives and deft drops to deny the seventh-seeded Englishman a place in Sunday's climax. Pilley won the first, then raced away with the second when he seemed to step up a gear halfway through the game.

The third was close again, but a tired-looking Ryder - who upset third seed Alister Walker in the previous round - was unable to match the impressive front court play of the number two seed.

Netherlands-based Pilley closed out the match 11-9, 11-5, 11-8 in 48 minutes.
