Teran Takes Out El Trabolsy

Mexican squash star Samantha Teran made a stunning WISPA World Tour comeback when she upset fifth seed Amnah El Trabolsy in straight games in the first round of the Women's Global Diamond Squash Open in Orange County, California, USA.

The 23-year-old from Mexico City has not played a ranking event since competing in last October's Ottawa International in Canada.

But the world No 115, who won the Pan American Championship in June, despatched El Trabolsy 9-5 9-1 9-0 to set up an unexpected quarter-final meeting with Australia's third seed Heidi Mather.
