Unseeded local hero Abdullah Al Muzayen produced the title win that the crowd wanted when he beat fourth seed Omar Abdel Meguid in the final of the Jena International No2, the PSA World Tour Challenger 10 squash event at the Qadsia Sporting Club in Hawally, Kuwait.

The Kuwaiti number one has enjoyed a sensational run the international tournament in his home country. His biggest scalp came in the opening round where he upset third-seeded Englishman Joel Hinds, a victory he followed with wins over unseeded Italian Amr Ramsy Swelim, then Egyptian qualifier Karim Ali Fathi - all in straight games.

And the 23-year-old left-hander from Kuwait City maintained this momentum against Meguid, ranked ten places higher.

In another straight games victory, Al Muzayen despatched Meguid 11-4, 11-8, 11-6 in 36 minutes to earn the seventh Tour title of his career.
