Bennett, 18, from Eindhoven, beat England's Laurence Delasaux 5-9 9-0 9-1 7-9 9-2 to become the first Dutchman to lift the title since Tommy Berden in 1998. The success marks Bennett's eighth junior title in Europe this season. The women's final was a seesaw affair in which Spain's Margaux Moros, the 17-year-old from Valencia who was given a walkover through to the final, led 1/0 and 2/1 in games - and then raced to matchball at 8-2 in the fifth. Pierrepont maintained her composure and climbed back to eight-all - saving a further matchball on the way before taking the final two points to claim the title with a 7-9 9-2 1-9 9-4 10-8 scoreline. The 18-year-old favourite from Brighton becomes the 11th English winner of the title, joining a distinguished group of former champions including world No4 Tania Bailey and former world champion and world No1 Cassie Jackman.
