Remarkably, this was the French champion's third successive meeting with Petersen in a WISPA World Tour final, and the best victory of the three - a 9-3 9-1 9-0 triumph which will surely lift the 23-year-old from Tours above her current world ranking of 18. Both players reached the final after overcoming first game semi-final setbacks - Stoehr clinching a hard-fought 5-9 9-2 9-1 10-9 win over Wales' fourth seed Tegwen Malik, and Petersen conquering Carla Khan of Pakistan 5-9 9-6 9-6 9-4.
