Duncalf Downs Botwright For Atlanta Title

After reaching the final of the Women's Atlanta Masters Squash Championship against the seedings, England's sixth seed Jenny Duncalf pulled off her biggest upset in the event when she toppled top seed Vicky Botwright in the all-English final in Atlanta, USA, to claim her first WISPA World Tour title.

Duncalf, the 20-year-old world No22 from Harrogate in Yorkshire - who interestingly first learned to play squash in Dallas, Texas - took the opening two games against her more experienced opponent.

But world No13 Botwright, the 26-year-old from Manchester still looking for her maiden WISPA title in her fourth final of the year, fought back to level the match against the former European Junior champion.  Duncalf dug deep, however, to reclaim the advantage and after 71 minutes secured her impressive 9-6 10-9 6-9 6-9 9-4 victory.
