Handley Punctures Champion Ball In Belgium Open

England's seventh seed Scott Handley dashed compatriot Bradley Ball's hopes of winning the title for the third successive year when he upset the top seed in the semi-finals of the Sip Cool Water Belgium Squash Open in Brussels.

The 29-year-old from Wallington in Oxfordshire fought back from 1/2 down to topple Ball 15-10 11-15 3-15 15-2 15-12 to avenge his defeat by the Suffolk 27-year-old in January's Rocafort Open final in Spain.

In the final, Handley will meet another fellow Englishman Joey Barrington, the second seed who survived a tough battle with Switzerland's Lars Harms to beat the fourth seed 17-14 16-17 15-13 15-7.

Barrington, the 25-year-old son of squash legend Jonah Barrington, from Somerset, is celebrating his fourth appearance in a PSA Tour final - but is seeking his first ever title.
