Annelize Naudé secured the sixth WISPA World Tour squash title of her career with an impressive display in the final of the Cabls SquashTime Open 2009 against Kanzy Emad El Defrawy of Egypt.

The 32-year-old Dutch player dropped the opening game against the talented Egyptian – who at the age of fifteen was competing in her first ever final on the WISPA World Tour.

But Naude then took control of the match. While El Defrawy put up a spirited fight, she was unable to get Naudé off the T, as the event’s favourite increased the tempo and started to dominate play, eventually running out a 13-15, 11-6, 11-8, 11-6 winner.

It was Naudé’s second WISPA title in the Dutch city of Eindhoven.  Earlier this year she won the Forexx Eindhoven Open 2009 in the same city.

The win will boost the Dutch star's confidence as Naude bids for success in this week's Forexx Women’s World Open Squash 2009 at the Frans Otten Stadion in Amsterdam.
