Top seeds Jonathan Kemp and Dominique Lloyd-Walter dismissed their opponents in straight games in the finals of the Coronation London Open to celebrate a domestic double in the international squash events at Cumberland LT&SC in the English capital.

Kemp, the world No23 from Shropshire, was in stunning form in the final of the men's $20,000 PSA World Tour event.

The Halifax-based 28-year-old crushed compatriot third seed Joey Barrington - ranked just three places lower in the PSA list - 11-6, 11-1, 11-5 in 30 minutes to become the first English winner of the men's title.

The triumph marks Kemp's 10th Tour title in 12 final appearances - and also notches up his fifth trophy of the year.

Favourite Dominique Lloyd-Walter faced Canada's fifth seed Alana Miller in the climax of the women's $8,000 WISPA World Tour event.  It was the pair's second meeting in a Tour final after the English player prevailed in the Ohio Open final in the USA just a year ago.

And history was repeated in London as Lloyd-Walter, the world No22 from Guildford, battled to an 11-7, 11-6, 11-8 victory in 43 minutes to win the trophy for a second time after claiming the inaugural London Open title in 2007.

The success extends a notable record for the Lloyd-Walter who now boasts six WISPA titles from six final appearances - including triumphs in England, USA, Switzerland, France and Iceland.
