Top seeds Rudi Rohrmuller and Millie Tomlinson claimed the U19 titles in the Belgian Junior Open Squash Championships after their triumphs in the finals of the European Squash Federation Junior Circuit event in Herentals.

Germany's Rudi Rohrmuller faced second-seeded Englishman Robert Downer in the men's final after both players survived four-game semi-finals.  And honours were shared after the first two games, as 17-year-old Downer, from Hampshire, battled back after losing the first game.

But 18-year-old Rohrmuller, from Rosenheim, recovered the advantage to close out the match 11-5, 5-11, 11-3, 11-7 to maintain his grip on the title he won for the first time last year.

Women's favourite Millie Tomlinson faced an unexpected opponent in the other final after England's Brogan Lane upset Anna Klimondova, the No2 seed from the Czech Republic, 6-11, 11-8, 12-10, 11-7 in the semi-finals.

But 17-year-old Tomlinson, from Derbyshire, was too strong for her 15-year-old compatriot, the 11th seed, winning 11-5, 11-4, 11-4 to keep the title in English hands for the second year.
