Top seeds Omar Mosaad and Shahier Razik will contest the final of the Racquet Club Invitational after surviving contrasting semi-finals in the $15,000 PSA World Tour squash event at The Racquet Club in St Louis, USA.

Canadian Razik, the second seed from Toronto, eased into his second Tour final of the year when he beat fellow Cairo-born Amr Swelim, the fourth seed representing Italy, 11-7, 11-7, 11-6.

But favourite Omar Mosaad, fresh from winning the KIG Open in Los Angeles - where he beat Razik in the final - dropped the first two games against experienced Egyptian compatriot Mohammed Abbas and was taken to a tie-break in the third.

Seventh seed Abbas, a former world No13 from Giza, made his breakthrough in the previous round where he despatched defending champion Mohd Ali Anwar Reda, the third seed also from Egypt, in five games.

But 29-year-old Abbas was unable to stop the younger Mosaad taking the third and fourth games to draw level - and then had to concede the match midway through the decider as the result of an injury, leaving Mosaad the victor in a 6-11, 4-11, 12-10, 11-3, 5-2 (ret.) scoreline.
