A pair of New Zealanders will contest the final of the Comfort Inn Open after fifth seed Martin Knight and sixth seed Campbell Grayson came through contrasting semi-finals of the $20,000 PSA World Tour squash event at Evergreen Squash Club in Vancouver, Canada.
Knight, the world No48 from Wellington who upset England's third seed Tom Richards in the quarters, battled for 73 minutes to overcome top seed Tarek Momen, last year's runner-up ranked 24 places higher, 13-11, 9-11, 11-9, 5-11, 11-9.
The win takes 26-year-old Knight through to his sixth PSA Tour final.
Earlier, close compatriot Campbell Grayson, from Auckland, ousted Mexico's No8 seed Arturo Salazar 11-5, 11-8, 11-7 in a 34-minute win which puts the 23-year-old into his fifth Tour final.
