Hong Kong's Joey Chan battled for five games to win the Bailian Youyicheng Shopping Mall & Yangzu Store Women's China Open, defeating Australian Lisa Camilleri in the final of the $8,000 WISPA World Tour squash event at the Bailian Youyicheng Shopping Mall in Shanghai.

Both players reached the final without dropping games - and twice the 22-year-old top seed from Hong Kong took the lead, and on both occasions Camilleri, the second seed from Queensland, drew level.

Left-hander Chan, ranked 30 in the world, had the upper hand in the decider, however, and pushed through to win 11-6, 11-13, 11-9, 7-11, 11-8.

The triumph marks the second Tour title of Chan's career - and her second this year.
