India's Joshna Chinappa charged to success in the German Ladies Open without dropping a game - beating Swiss opponent Gaby Schmohl in the final of the $9,200 WISPA World Tour squash event at the Tennis & Squash Centre in Saarbrucken.

The second seed from Chennai overcame two qualifiers en-route to the final - where she faced the Swiss number one, who was unseeded.

Schmohl made her breakthrough in the semi-finals where the Zurich-born 29-year-old battled for 46 minutes to topple top seed Line Hansen. It was only seven days ago that Dane Hansen won her eighth Tour title at the Carcassonne City Open in France.

But Schmohl's semi-final endeavours undoubted took their toll as Chinappa dismissed the unexpected finalist 11-6, 11-7, 11-6 in just 22 minutes to earn the fourth WISPA Tour title of her career.
